Outstanding Kenton County Graduate Ceremony
This year, the Team Kenton Foundation honored Justin Wietholter from Scott High School. Lt. Wietholter serves as a patrol supervisor and SWAT team commander for the Covington Police Department. In 2015, Justin was one of two Covington officers recognized as "Police Officer of the Year" by the NKY Police Chiefs Association after saving the life of a 9 year old girl by rescuing her from a house fire set by an arsonist. Justin also serves as a leader in the Fraternal Order of Police, holding the positions of Vice President of Lodge #1 and State Lodge Trustee. Justin holds a BA in Criminal Justice and a MA in Executive Leadership & Organizational Change, both from NKU.
